1001 Inventions Joins Dubai RTA in Celebrating UAE Innovation Week

News“1000 Years of Innovation” from the Golden Age of Muslim Civilisation 

DUBAI, 20 November 2016: 1001 Inventions joined Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) in celebrating UAE Innovation Week, a week-long national celebration of innovation across the UAE that aims to create and spread a culture of innovation in the country.

Through their collaboration, 1001 Inventions and Dubai RTA, are showcasing an interactive and engaging display “1000 Years of Innovation” that highlights some of the key innovative solutions and discoveries from the Golden Age of Muslim Civilisation that relate to mobility, cartography, the movement and spread of knowledge as well as some key technologies that still impact our lives today.

His Excellency Mattar Al Tayer, Chairman of Dubai RTA, inaugurated the exhibit that is using highly engaging technologies to bring life to centuries of innovation including augmented reality, interactive exhibits and gesture controlled games.

The exhibit is open for schools, RTA staff and the public until Thursday 24th November from 8.00am till 3.00pm at RTA Head Office.
